Trauma Faith & Healing: Domestic Violence Event

2026-10-24T09:00:00Z

In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, First Missionary Baptist Church invites the community to Trauma, Faith, and Healing on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Hosted by the Health Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Event Team, this free gathering will create a compassionate space to learn, listen, and discover pathways toward healing. Attendees will hear powerful testimonies, experience spoken word presentations, and participate in an educational session designed to increase awareness, inspire hope, and help our community respond to domestic violence with wisdom and care.

Community organizations will also be available to provide resources, information, and support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Whether you have been personally impacted, are supporting someone you love, or simply want to become a more informed and compassionate community member, you are welcome.
