LET'S GROW THROUGH LIFE TOGETHER.
LET'S GROW THROUGH LIFE TOGETHER.
Growth Groups offer a nurturing environment where you can connect with like-minded individuals, strengthen your relationship with God and others, and undergo personal transformation within a supportive community. When you join one of FMBC’s small groups, you will study the Bible, engage in deep discussion, pray, share life’s ups and downs, and support each other. God never intended for us to go through life alone.

Sundays @ 11:30 a.m. - Beginning October 15th - General Audience, All Ages - If you have been considering becoming a member at FMBC, then this is the group for you. You'll discover who we are at FMBC, what we believe, why we believe it, and how we apply those beliefs as we strive to be personally connected and radically changed. You may attend either in-person or online via Zoom.
Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m. - Beginning October 17th - General Population - Join us and learn how to share your faith in today's world. Get valuable skills to engage in everyday conversations - from the viewpoint that we reach our world, one conversation at a time. This group meets online via Zoom.
Rev. Garry Morrison
Facilitator (Virginia Morrison, Host)
Wednesdays @ 12 Noon - Beginning October 18th - General Population, Adults - This group will take a deeper dive into the scripture presented each week in Sunday morning worship. Join us in person inside the Gateway Auditorium or online via Facebook.

Wednesdays @ 7:00 p.m.- Beginning October 18th - General Population - Christianity is not a white religion, but the source of truth and dignity for all African Americans. This group will address issues unique to the Black church, cutting through the misinformation and revealing the truth about Jesus Christ, the church, and the Scriptures. Topics are taken from the book, "Urban Apologetics" by Dr. Eric Mason. You don't need to have the book to take part in the group - FREE discussion guides will be provided. This group meets online via Zoom.
Rev. Fred Womble
& Lesli Corbin
Co-Facilitators
Thursdays @ 7:00 p.m. - Beginning October 19th - General Population - The book of Hebrews was written to people in crisis. They were persecuted, tempted by the rampant sin around them, and doubting their faith in Jesus. It was not so different from what many of us go through today. Join us as we walk through Hebrews, learning how to live for Jesus in every season of life. Hebrews shows us that Jesus is better than anything the world can offer. We simply need to answer, “Am I willing to trust him above everything else?” This group meets online via Zoom.
Jeff Dickens
Facilitator (Aletha Cherry, Host)
Fridays @ 7:00 p.m. - Beginning October 27th - Teens & Adults - Jesus left His believers with two mandates: 1) Love thy neighbor as thyself (the greatest commandment) and 2) reach lost souls for Christ (the Great Commission). But how do we connect Jesus to a secular world that is gripped with fear from the daily exposure of living life outside the Will of God? How do we, as believers in Christ, remain rooted and grounded in God's word to be effective Ambassadors and Disciples for Christ? Or in simpler terms, "How do we let our lights shine?" This group will learn and grow together in God's word encouraging each other to let our lights shine in a dark world. This group meets online via Zoom.
Ruth Rhedrick
Facilitator (Lasonya McElroy, Host)
Tuesdays @ 6:45 p.m. - Beginning October 17th - Women, All Ages - Before you were born, God already planned your life. God longs for you to discover the life he uniquely created you to live - here on earth, and forever in eternity. Women in this group will discover how to live the life God planned for them. This group meets online via Zoom.
Fran Claibourne
Facilitator
Mondays @ 7:00 p.m. - Beginning October 30th - Young Adults, Ages 25-35 - The Heirs' Collective isn't just a group, it's a lively community where everyone belongs. It's a space where doubts are welcomed, questions are encouraged, and where the richness of the Bible meets the challenges of contemporary life. While our primary focus is to study the Word, we also hope to build an "heir"-tight (😜) community; forging meaningful relationships through shared laughter, prayers, and the occasional friendly competition. If you're ready to explore the depths of your faith while having a blast, then we encourage you to join us!
Kimberly Broughton
Facilitator (Jean Morrison, Host)
